New van to reach more children and Youngsters | Curaçao

Previously, with the help of generous donors, we purchased a 7-seater van for our sports project on Curaçao. This van has allowed us to reach children and young people in different parts of the island — especially those who do not have access to regular or structured sports activities.

But one van is no longer enough.

As our project grows, so does our ambition. We want to reach all children and young people who currently miss out on the chance to move, play, and develop themselves through sport. To do that, we need a second van.

This second vehicle will allow us to:

• Transport children to safe and reliable training locations

• Bring our trainers and coaches directly into neighbourhoods where no sports infrastructure exists

• Make our sports programme more flexible and widely available across the island

We are now raising €12,000 to purchase this second van.
This amount covers the cost of a reliable used vehicle that is large enough to carry both children and equipment, and that meets the safety standards we set for all our activities.

The van is not a luxur, it is a necessary tool to help us do our job well. It ensures that no child is excluded simply because they live too far away or because their neighbourhood lacks facilities.
